24/7 Media, New York, yesterday joined the Oracle Corp. Wireless Partner Initiative, in which the ad network and server will provide wireless ad serving as part of the Oracle91 Application Server Wireless Edition. The new relationship also will enable Oracle to provide 24/7’s advertisers with its wireless solutions.
The Oracle91 Application Server Wireless Edition is an application server that enables companies to transfer Web content to wireless devices such as personal digital assistants, pagers and cellular phones.
This agreement marks an extension of 24/7’s wireless ad serving capabilities, which were launched in February.
