24/7 Media Inc., New York, yesterday began a multi-cultural services channel featuring e-mail marketing and advertising services for companies interested in reaching African-Americans, Latinos and Asian-Americans.
The company said it expanded its relationship with Community Connect Inc., a developer of online ethnic communities. The new arrangement will supply 24/7 Media with e-mail lists from BlackPlanet, AsianAvenue and MiGente.com. 24/7 Media also said that it has signed exclusive deals with TheBlackWorldToday.com and BlackWorldRadio.com for banner advertising.
BlackPlanet.com is an online community for African-Americans with more than 2 million registered members. AsianAvenue.com serves the Asian-American community and has more than 1.3 million registered users.
