E-mail marketing services provider Bigfoot Interactive has teamed with Vendaria Inc. to offer Vendaria's Envision Video Mail to its clients.
Financial terms of the deal, which was announced yesterday, were not disclosed.
Vendaria, Seattle, provides video product demonstrations and rich media services for e-commerce sites. By incorporating Vendaria's Envision Video Mail into an HTML campaign, marketers can stream video automatically once an e-mail is opened or activated by the recipient.
The company said its technology detects the recipient's browser, operating system and media player and automatically delivers the compatible video content. If the recipient lacks the correct software to view the e-mail, an HTML version with graphics will be delivered instead.
