Before joining the DMA, John A. Greco Jr. held various marketing and business development positions at R.R. Donnelley & Sons, AT&T and RCA. He also served as president/CEO of the 350-member Yellow Pages Integrated Association.
1974-77: RCA Co., design engineer and market and product manager.
1977-96: AT&T Corp., marketing and business development positions, including director of AT&T's Consumer Laboratory Center of Excellence at AT&T Bell Laboratories and AT&T Consumer Communications Services.
1996-2000: R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co., senior vice president of marketing and technology. Named senior vice president of marketing and business development for Donnelley's Financial Business Unit in 2000.
2000-03: Yellow Pages Integrated Media Association, president/CEO. Helped change name from Yellow Pages Publishers Association and helped launch the “I Am” campaign.
2003-present: Greco Enterprises LLC, co-founder. Family holding company that includes a marketing services company and a real estate investment and management company.
Greco has an MBA from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering from Monmouth University. He, his wife, Carol, and their three children live in Watchung, NJ.
