A Slip of an Increase in Limited Brands' Q3 Sales

Limited Brands, Columbus, OH, reported yesterday that net sales totaled $1.89 billion in the third quarter ended Oct. 30 compared with $1.85 billion last year.

Same-store sales for the multichannel marketer, whose brands include Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works, rose 1 percent.

For the nine months ended Oct. 30, net sales increased 7 percent to $6.08 billion. Same-store sales in the period gained 6 percent.
