Doubleday Entertainment offers multi-marketer ride-along brochures starting in April. Singer Direct, Scarsdale, NY, is managing the program.
The brochures will have up to five advertisers and be distributed to the selected lists of the book marketer’s active club members including Doubleday Book Club and the Literary Guild.
Standard ads are available for $15/M while spots on the inside front cover and back cover are priced at $25/M. All ads will run in four color.
Women make up 93 percent of Doubleday club members. Their average age is 43 and average household income is $51,000 while 79 percent are married and 78 percent are college educated.
The Doubleday Book Club is more than 70 years old and offers discounts on fiction and nonfiction books including best sellers, romance books, mysteries, craft books and biographies.
The Literary Guild is a general-interest club that features popular fiction and nonfiction books, historical fiction books, religious books and selections from the New York Times Best Sellers List.
Doubleday, Garden City, NY, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bookspan. It distributes merchandise via direct mail and e-commerce.
