Digital mapmaker Navteq Corp. has acquired cell phone maker Nokia Corp. for $8.1 billion, in a deal expected to close this week. Navteq produces maps and software found in car navigation systems, portable navigation devices and Internet map sites. Nokia’s purchase by the company reflects its recent upswing in using more navigation software in its mobile phones and other products.
