Here’s a really cool way to promote a movie, even if you give a few people heart attacks along the way.
To create some buzz for the upcoming Hollywood remake of the horror film Carrie , the film’s special effects team partnered with marketing agency Thinkmodo to create an epic prank. They put together a few actors with some nifty special effects to make it look like an angry girl in a coffee shop suddenly develops telekinetic powers and starts to move objects without touching them, (much like the protagonist in Carrie.) She hurls a man up against a wall and makes chairs and tables fly as onlookers shriek and gasp in horror and disbelief.
