Teleservices provider Alpine Access said yesterday that it would handle inbound call services for Plow & Hearth, a subsidiary of 1-800-Flowers.
The deal expands the relationship between 1-800-Flowers and Alpine Access. The teleservices provider began handling overflow services to 1-800-Flowers during peak holiday periods around St. Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Christmas, then grew during the past 18 months to providing year-round sales call support and inbound customer service.
Financial terms of the expanded contract were not disclosed. Alpine Access, Golden, CO, employs home-based call center agents, giving it extra flexibility to handle call volume peaks and shifting call patterns.
