While at Agency.com, Zucker’s creative contributions led to the growth of the agency’s business with clients such as CIT and Mars.
Zucker is rejoining OgilvyOne after leaving in 2005 to join R/GA as executive creative director. He will report to Harvey Kipnis, managing director, OgilvyOne, New York.
Zucker “brings us best-in-class direct marketing and CRM experience across the expanding channel landscape — both offline and online,” said Carla Hendra, CEO of Ogilvy North America, in a statement.
“Our targeted marketing business continues to grow as ‘the long tail’ becomes a reality for marketers,” said Kipnis, in a statement. “We are looking to Mat to help us scale the direct model in the digital world, enabled by the many new technology tools now available to creatives.”
Ogilvy North America is part of media conglomerate WPP Group.
