Zooba.com, a free opt-in service that creates and delivers weekly e-mails on more than 40 subjects from food and cuisine to world music, yesterday entered into a sponsorship agreement with LiveREADS to support the release of a new novella by author Jack Kerouac.
LiveREADS offers digital distribution of authors’ works and integrates them with live images, audio, animation and special effects, for delivery over the Internet.
The company is using Zooba.com to promote the “lost” Kerouac novella, “Orpheus Emerged.” The novella is the first full-length work by Kerouac published in 30 years. Kerouac died at 47 in October 1969 in St. Petersburg, FL.
