Zack Network Inc., San Mateo, CA, is expected to begin a search for an ad agency in the next two months. The company's technology serves as an intermediary between online users and retailers, allowing real-time price comparisons and product reviews. “We want to create a brand like Inktomi or Akamai, where people don't know what they do but associate them with being the basis of the Internet,” said Matt Patterson, CEO of Zack.
Zack's investors include Germany's Bertelsmann Ventures and Sienna Holdings.
