Young & Rubicam Inc., New York, remained tight-lipped about possibly acquiring direct marketing services company Harte-Hanks, San Antonio, yesterday. Y&R also is distancing itself from published reports that it may be taken over by British advertising conglomerate WPP Group PLC, London.
