Yesmail has launched its new B2B Network of more than 8 million opt-in e-mail addresses in the business-to-business sector, the company said yesterday.
Though Yesmail has always sold third-party business-to-business lists, the new database marks the first time it has created its own BTB file from its network of more than 150 Web sites.
“We've seen huge demand for business data, and I think what the business marketers are finding is it's very difficult to find good sources of b-to-b data, particularly sources that are targetable,” said Dave Linhardt, senior vice president of data services at Yesmail, Chicago.
Unlike some e-mail files, the Yesmail B2B Network offers marketers demographic selects such as industry codes, company revenue, number of employees, job title, location, education and purchasing authority.
