YellowBrick Solutions, Morrisville, NC, a customer experience management solutions vendor, is announcing an alliance today with MicroStrategy Inc., Vienna, VA, an intelligent e-business software provider.
Under the terms of the agreement, MicroStrategy and YellowBrick Solutions will recommend each other's products to current and potential customers.
MicroStrategy 7 is the company's flagship product. It is a business intelligence platform that provides companies with the ability to analyze information in their data warehouses to answer mission-critical business questions and understand partners' and customers' behavior. Customer relationship management applications can be built on top of the platform. Visitant, YellowBrick Solutions' flagship product, helps to create a holistic view of customers across all of these applications.

The companies said the relationship is important because many customers build separate CRM systems for marketing automation as well as their call centers, Web sites and stores. This partnership, however, will allow someone in the call center to see all interactions with a customer through other touch points.
In addition, MicroStrategy 7 can integrate with Visitant out-of-the-box, allowing joint clients to seamlessly integrate all of a company's existing customer touch point applications to present a single customer profile in real time.
