Yahoo Selects Kana to Provide Customer E-mail Software

Yahoo, Santa Clara, CA, yesterday selected Kana Communications, Redwood City, CA, to provide software for the management of its online user e-mail.

Kana Response, a Web-based customer service software, will be used across Yahoo’s online customer communications services. The software will enable Yahoo representatives to respond faster to online user e-mail.

“We chose Kana because they share our commitment to high-quality customer care and service,” said David Pollay, senior director at Yahoo’s customer care department. “Kana’s team of professionals have provided several Yahoo departments with the ability to handle customer communication for our millions of users in an easy and effective manner.”
