Pfizer Inc. named Wunderman New York to offer certain direct marketing services for its Pfizer for Living program.
It is not known how many agencies pitched for the business. Rapp Collins Worldwide, New York, was the incumbent on the account. Billings were not disclosed.
Pfizer for Living is a free interactive program offering health tools and advice on diet and exercise, allergies, osteoporosis, high cholesterol and diabetes.
Wunderman is charged with providing strategic thinking and database services in addition to online and offline creative work. The agency won the business based on experience with pharmaceutical accounts like Roche, AstraZeneca and Biogen.
“The idea is to make this a stronger opportunity for Pfizer across channels,” said David Sable, president of Wunderman New York.
