Worldata Snares 101communications Properties

Worldata, Boca Raton, FL, announced today that it will take management of the 101communications postal and e-mail files totaling 1.5 million IT professionals effective Oct. 11.

The 101communications portfolio includes 36 publications/e-newsletters, 21 Web sites serving 6.3 million page views monthly and 30 conferences, trade shows and seminars worldwide in 2004.

101communications started in-house list division 101Direct in August 2003 but decided to outsource list management again at this time.

“We chose Worldata because they demonstrate a great understanding of the technology marketplace and how to position our files,” said Jane Nicholson, general manager of list services for 101communications, Chatsworth, CA.

The 101communications files are organized into six areas of expertise: software development, business technology, Windows networking/certification, education technology, government technology and office-imaging technologies.

List titles for publications and conferences published and produced by 101communications include Microsoft Certified Professional Magazine (now titled Redmond), Syllabus/Campus Technology (now titled Campus Technology), Federal Computer Week, Application Development Trends, Business Intelligence Journal, C++ Report Magazine, Digital Age Magazine, Distributed Computing Magazine, ENT Magazine, Enterprise Linux Magazine, FCW Daily News e-Newsletter, MCP TechMentor Conferences and XML Conferences.

Selections on the files include job title, geography, business/industry, operating systems/databases/applications, products/services/hardware purchased, IT budget levels and number of employees. Data cards for the 101communications titles will be available at www.worldata.com.
