NetProspex, a user-generated directory of business contacts, has tapped Worldata as its first-ever list management company. Effective immediately, Worldata manages postal, e-mail and telemarketing lists for NetProspex. The lists are new to the market.
The NetProspex list contains more than 2.3 million contacts from a variety of industries and business types, including corporate enterprises, technical organizations and small businesses across IT, government and finance.
“What’s really cool about this list is that it is based on collaborative data gathering, meaning that when you go to NetProspex, you have to enter in some of your own contacts in order to get new contacts back,” said Jay Schwedelson, corporate VP of Worldata. “This whole collaborative data-sharing world that is emerging in the b-to-b marketplace is new. Certain marketers are looking at it as a new source of names because of the new way they are being generated and are testing these lists separately.”
He added that NetProspex was a great win for Worldata because of the quality of its data and the number of new names the company gathers each month.
“It’s in the hundreds of thousands,” Schwedelson said, “which is terrific because in this marketplace not many lists have that many fresh names each month.”
Data in the NetProspex list are checked through phone validation. The NetProspex postal file costs $105/M, e-mail $250/M and telemarketing $65/M.
