World Marketing, a direct marketing services firm partially owned by the Omaha World Herald Co., bought MailTech Ltd.
MailTech offers lettershop, data processing, list services and fulfillment services. Founded by Truman Pope three years ago, the Cicero, IL, firm has clients in retail, financial and entertainment.
The acquisition strengthens World Marketing's services and presence in the Chicago area. The company eventually will combine its Rylander operations in Mount Prospect, IL, with MailTech.
