The question about “real time” is whether it’s actually real time, or just near real time.
While some marketers mean “in the exact moment” when they refer to real-time marketing, others mean “as close to the moment as makes sense or that we’re capable of.”
To avoid miscommunication, it’s best to include “near” if that’s what you mean.
