Wink Adds Bloomberg to Interactive List

Interactive television service Wink Communications, Alameda, CA, yesterday added financial and business news channel Bloomberg Television, New York, to its growing list of interactive production partners.

The interactive content is currently in development, but the companies expect the channel to go interactive 24/7 to all of Wink’s current 200,000 homes by the third quarter of this year.

Wink is a free service that earns money from network, production and advertising partners. Currently major TV markets like Time Warner in New York are using Wink. People can use the service to respond to ads and get additional information from select programming partners. Bloomberg joins other full-time Wink interactive partners such as Oxygen, CNN, The Weather Channel and ESPN.
