W.A. Wilde Co., a direct marketing and fulfillment solutions provider, launched Wilde Direct, a full-service direct response advertising agency, it was announced today.
The agency launched Oct. 27 with the launch party occurring at the same site, Stone’s Inn in Ashland, MA, where W.A. Wilde held its first board meeting about 25 years ago.
Wilde Direct’s clients include CFS Affinity Services, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Great-West Life & Annuity Insurance Co. and Bombardier Skyjet. Some of them already use other W.A. Wilde services.
The agency will function as an independent arm of its parent. Tammy A. Casserly, president of the agency and a 13-year veteran of W.A. Wilde, has a management team that includes director of strategy and creative planning Sally Moren and managing director Bruce Wagoner.
W.A. Wilde was founded in 1868 as a publishing firm. The company offers direct mail production, database management, fulfillment services, Web-based marketing tools, customizable print-on-demand capabilities, integrated media research and acquisition services.
With the agency’s addition, W.A. Wilde can offer strategic account planning and creative development in a more structured manner.
“It enables us to get in front of companies,” Casserly said. “You’re not competing on price, you’re not competing on pure commodity. We all know you’re paying more for intellectual property and people are willing to pay for that. It enables us to get better results and add to [clients’] bottom line. W.A. Wilde was providing the service, but not formally.”
