WestWayne Corrals Orlando Visitors Bureau

The Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau Inc. named WestWayne, Tampa, FL, to handle a $6 million account.

WestWayne won the account in a shootout involving Turkel Schwartz & Partners, Miami; Hill, Holliday, Boston; and Euro Tatham, Chicago. Incumbent Cramer-Krassalt did not participate in the review.

The integrated marketing assignment includes strategic planning, media buying, creative development and execution, direct mail and interactive advertising. The agency will market Orlando to vacation travelers. The city already claims to be the world's leading travel destination.

WestWayne, a $360 million billings agency, recently enlarged its roster with wins like Hops Restaurants and The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. Other clients include The Sports Authority and Publix Super Markets.
