West Teleservices, Omaha, NE, has formed a strategic relationship with Synchrony Communications, Cincinnati, that provides contact-center technology integrating customer interactions across multiple channels of communication.
The agreement calls for West, which operates 27 outsourced call centers across North America, to offer Synchrony’s customer support solutions to e-commerce businesses. In addition, the two companies will seek to develop joint marketing projects. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
West said it would become a minority shareholder in Synchrony as part of the agreement. In addition, Tom Barker, CEO of West, will serve on the board of directors at Synchrony.
