WeddingChannel.com and Della.com last week merged, creating one of the leading online wedding registries and gifts companies. Called WeddingChannel.com, the new company will have more than 1 million users, giving it access to more than 15 million gifts available from more than 700,000 registries. The online marketer’s ties with bricks-and-mortar retailers extends WeddingChannel’s reach to more than 20 percent of the 2.4 million brides each year in the United States. These retailers include the gift registries of Federated Department Stores, Neiman Marcus, Tiffany & Co., Williams-Sonoma, Dillard’s and Crate & Barrel, among others. The WeddingChannel is an online marketplace for buyers and sellers of wedding-related services to exchange information and purchase products.
