Voxify and Convergys Sept. 11 announced a partnership that will bring Voxify’s Automated Agents to infomercial direct response campaigns, a growth market for both companies.
Alameda, CA-based Voxify’s, Automated Agents are automated call center agents that use patented technology to model the conversational skills of a trained live agent. The new Direct Response Automated Agents will be integrated and hosted on Cincinatti, OH-based Covergys’, SpeechPort VoiceXML platform, enabling callers to place orders, check order status or request information from infomercial campaigns and other retail industry sales.
Marketing departments will be able to change promotional offers, pricing or special up-sell offers in a minimum of time. Additionally, the Convergys SpeechPort platform has near unlimited on-demand capacity, meaning that calls are answered immediately and not left in a queue waiting for an available agent. This is especially important for the infomercial segment, as call volumes typically spike and then quickly drop off after an infomercial airs.
The technology also promises high rates of call completion, order conversion, customer satisfaction as well as cost savings.
