Volvo Taps Trillium Software

Trillium Software, Billerica, MA, the data cleansing division of Harte-Hanks Data Technologies, was selected by Volvo Trucks North America to cleanse and standardize customer information data for its U.S.-based customer database.

Volvo hopes to consolidate data from multiple sources — including The R.L. Polk & Co., Dun & Bradstreet and its own internal field staff — to build and maintain a customer database with current customers and prospects.

By linking the databases, Trillium expects Volvo to gain more business intelligence regarding customers and prospects and to be able to segment the marketplace better.
