Viador Inc., Mountain View, CA, this week announced E-Portal Express, a Web-based interface system that allows companies to share information securely with suppliers, customers and partners.
The system allows two or more users at different computers to see the same information as they communicate about business or marketing projects.
E-Portal Express is an enhanced version of Viador's E-Portal Framework, which combines e-commerce applications such as HTML page layout and business alerts as well as content-based searching.
Express performs those duties plus the following applications:
• The system allows for quick development of pages with multiple design features over slow or fast networks and modem connections, according to the firm.
• It allows Web developers to tailor sites for online work groups, including secured sign-on to Web servers, public Web sites, software systems and other applications.
• The system can be used with document management systems such as Lotus Notes, Microsoft Exchange, Documentum, FileNet and OpenText LiveLink.
Viador said the E-Portal Express was designed to easily plug into a firm's software architecture. The system is available as part of Viador's Millennium Solutions Pack, which starts at $50,000.
