Vertis Inc. is expected to announce today that it would rebrand its direct marketing subsidiary, Webcraft, as Vertis Direct Marketing Services by Jan. 1.
The name change marks the final step in Vertis' decision to consolidate all its business units under one brand name. The initial decision was made in early 2000, Vertis said.
While Webcraft clients and employees were informed of the switch before the announcement, the final transition will take place over the next two months.
Vertis' other business units include Vertis Advertising Production Services, Vertis Digital Production Services, Vertis Media & Marketing Services, Vertis Newspaper Premedia Services, Vertis Retail and Newspaper Services and Vertis Europe.
