Vertis Debuts Interactive Promotional Tool

Vertis launched a sticker-based tool that can be used on circulars, and it incorporates an adhesion technology that produces a peel-off “reveal mechanism” for various promotions, the company said yesterday.

When a consumer peels off the sticker, the bonus offer is revealed. The consumer then can bring the sticker to a retail establishment and claim the prize. The stickers also can be barcoded. The tool can be used for coupons, special announcements, private-label programs, scent strips, sweepstakes and Web-based games.

Vertis, Baltimore, said The Interactive Promotional Tool helps marketers drive sales volume and generate trial purchases of new products, build brand equity and differentiate inserts. The tool also offers various formats, folds, shapes and sizes.

“This new marketing tool enables organizations to uniquely engage their shoppers by calling attention front and center to their inserts, making them the perfect vehicle for delivering promotions, coupons and loyalty programs,” said Ann Raider, Vertis chief strategy officer.
