VerticalResponse has selected Message Systems’ message management platform to power its e-mail deliverability.
Under the terms of the partnership, Message Systems will e-mail infrastructure and provide back-end delivery for all of Vertical Response’s 50,000 small to midsized clients through the VerticalResponse platform.
“Small companies are the ones that may be taking a harder hit than anybody in this economy, and their ability to get their message out is more important than ever,” said Barry Abel, VP of field operations for Message Systems. “Any dollar spent on marketing has to have intense ROI, and by ensuring delivery they increase that return.”
In 2008, VerticalResponse added 15,000 new small business customers, and the e-mail service provider currently sends up to 200 million messages per month. This represents a 60% increase in e-mails sent in 2007. The new partnership with Message Systems will help handle this load.
“Their focus is to monopolize the experience of their customers, and brand awareness for their end customers,” Abel added.
Message Systems also will increase VerticalResponse’s compliance by adding Domain Keys Identified Email (DKIM) and Goodmail Certified Email standards to its delivery platform.
