VerticalResponse, a provider of self-service and customized direct marketing services, has become a reseller of Return Path's Bonded Sender program, it was announced yesterday.
Qualified VerticalResponse customers can join the Bonded Sender program to aid their overall e-mail deliverability by entering more inboxes and avoiding spam filters and bulk folders.
Bonded Sender maintains a list of approved mail servers. As an approved reseller, VerticalResponse has specific servers within this list. The program aims to share this information with Internet service providers and corporate domains to identify legitimate incoming mail.
As part of this deal, VerticalResponse will accept current customers into the Bonded Sender program and post the financial bond on their behalf, but only after clients pass a screening and account review.
More than 35,000 ISPs, corporate domains and universities recognize the Bonded Sender program. TrustE, a third-party e-mail accreditation service, certified Bonded Sender.
