VentureDirect Worldwide Pursues Opt-In E-Mail Marketing

Direct marketing and media services company VentureDirect Worldwide, New York, is gearing up to combine its list marketing and online services expertise as it goes about positioning itself as a leader in the expanding e-mail marketing industry.

President Richard Baumer said e-mail marketing combines the best qualities of traditional direct marketing and online marketing. “Opt-in e-mail marketing makes sense and is an ideal addition to the media mix for most VentureDirect clients,” he said.

VentureDirect has three list divisions — List Management, List Brokerage and Compiled Lists — as well as three online divisions — Online Media Planning and Buying, The @dventure Network (www.ad-venture.com) and The Free Forum Network (www.freeforum.com).

The company has added seven new opt-in e-mail lists in the last three months — GolfUniverse.com & GolfNow.com, Introserve.com, MWN Sports Coaches Opt-in, Winanewcar.com, Bettergolf.net, Peelworld.com, and Liveflowers.com. Other opt-in e-mail lists managed by VentureDirect include Catalog-Mart.com, Newsletter-Library.com, Did-it.com, and Ultimate Internet Shoppers. And new ones are constantly being added.
