Vendesco Picks Acxiom

Acxiom Corp., Little Rock, AR, will provide its InfoBase data solutions to Vendesco Inc., a provider of an integrated cross-marketing platform that lets operators of multichannel contact centers cross-market products from an array of suppliers.

Vendesco, Washington, will incorporate Acxiom's InfoBase Enhancement and InfoBase TeleSource products in its platform, producing a system that aims to reduce contact center operating costs up to 20 percent.

“Unlike the traditional direct marketing model that builds a target list based on a product, the inbound marketing model begins with the consumer contact, then selects a product relevant to each individual,” Vendesco managing director Wesley Johnston said last week. “Having instantaneous access to high-quality data improves the accuracy of our demographic modeling, which leads to higher conversation rates and greater revenue for our clients.”
