Coupon distributor Val-Pak Direct Marketing Systems Inc., Largo, FL, yesterday said it sealed an agreement with SalesMountain.com, Los Angeles, to integrate Val-Pak’s coupon information into the SalesMountain Web site.
Under terms of the agreement, SalesMountain, which posts information about sales by local and national retailers, service providers, e-commerce stores and catalogs, will include Val-Pak coupons from local offline merchants. The companies said that about 30,000 coupons will be posted on the site. Consumers also will be able to register to receive individual coupons by e-mail.
Meanwhile, Val-Pak and SalesMountain have agreed to a joint advertising program, including placing co-branded inserts featuring the SalesMountain sites into Val-Pak’s co-op envelopes.
SalesMountain.com, which was launched in July, contains a sales database listing thousands of special deals, localized by ZIP code, that consumers can search by product, service, category, store, price and brand.
