Valassis Communications, Livona, MI, earlier this month announced a strategic marketing agreement with Exchange Applications, Boston, which names Exchange as a preferred technology supplier to VCI for CARS (Customer Attainment and Retention System).
The VALEX software will enable Valassis to analyze shopper information databases for retail marketing opportunities, and then prioritize marketing investments according to potential ROI. VALEX will also automate the planning, execution and assessment of targeted, real-time and event-triggered shopper communications for retailers.
