The U.S. Postal Service translated its “A Customer's Guide to Mailing” into Chinese, the agency said yesterday.
The USPS said there are more than 2.4 million Chinese-speaking Americans. The publication will be sent this month to post offices with the highest concentration of Chinese-speaking customers. The guide is published in Spanish as well as English.
The guide is a 24-page booklet that provides information including illustrations, tips and real-life examples. It is the first in a series of books designed to be easier for consumers to understand than the Domestic Mail Manual, which it replaces.
