United Parcel Service Inc. is expected today to launch Global Advisor, a Web-based solution to help small businesses ship globally.
Global Advisor contains international shipping information, links to other UPS Web sites, international trade information and trade facilitation tools.
The site also is designed to identify opportunities to network with colleagues and experts involved in international trade and shipping, and allow businesses to easily review a database of country-specific regulations.
Available to customers in all 50 states, Global Advisor can be accessed from the UPS.com home page by clicking on the “Resource” tab and selecting “Global Advisor” or simply entering the URL www.ups.com/globaladvisor.
UPS also said that franchisees of The UPS Store locations recently have undergone extensive training to provide local shippers information on international shipping.
