The University of Miami (FL) selected a marketing solution from DataMentors Inc. to create an educational laboratory, DataMentors said yesterday.
Students and school personnel will use the lab to study intelligent marketing applications in the university and the real-world business environment, the Tampa, FL, company said.
It also will be offered exclusively by DataMentors to select domestic and international universities and colleges.
Associate athletic director Ross Bjork said he wants to apply the PinPoint tool to college athletics to better serve season-ticket holders and cater to general fund donors.
PinPoint offers a 360-degree view of the customer through data validation, standardization and householding.
