TriVium to Launch SimpleRM

TriVium Systems, a provider of Web-centric business solutions backed by Intel, will launch its SimpleRM relationship management solution Nov. 1.

TriVium believes it has a chance to be one of the few players bringing a fully integrated solution to small and medium-sized businesses.

SimpleRM is designed to bring together a total picture of a company's interaction with a customer across voice, Web, e-mail, live chat, fax and wireless communications.

“Vendors have overlooked and have not been able to meet the needs of the members of the mid-market segment that are looking to improve their production, efficiency and relationship building with their customers,” said Mahmood Sher-Jan, director of marketing at TriVium Systems, Portland, OR. “There are few choices today for these business.”

An example of the product's capabilities, according to Sher-Jan, is its handling of sales leads. If a company is introducing a new product and has launched an e-mail campaign, the technology can channel all favorable sales leads to the appropriate salesperson. If the lead is not handled, it can be rerouted to a manager or another salesperson.

The effort can be measured from beginning to end to gauge its effectiveness. A dashboard management console enables managers to quickly view staff activities and individual customer interactions with drill-down capabilities to view.

While SimpleRM can handle numerous communications channels on its own, it also can tie in with a company's existing technologies. “We go a step further to provide architecture that can integrate with other solutions to facilitate data exchange and transfer,” Sher-Jan said. SimpleRM can be offered as both a software and a service.

The cost to use the service is $1,000 per user. According to Sher-Jan, its two biggest competitors, Onyx and Pivotal, charge approximately $2,500 per user. TriVium is funded by W.R. Hambrecht & Co. and Intel.
