Travelocity Offers Grand-Prize Trip to NYC

Travelocity.com is launching an “I Love NY” campaign to try to spark travel and tourism to New York, the company said yesterday.

The campaign's grand prize is a free trip for two to New York City. To enter, visitors to Travelocity must register by Nov. 12 by clicking on the “I Love NY” button or with Travelocity's Concierge Services at http://leisure.travelocity.com/Concierge/.

As part of the campaign, Travelocity is featuring special information about New York's best in entertainment, attractions, culture and history.

Travelocity is working with partners such as Broadway.com, Viator, Iseatz.com, Hotel Reservations Network, NYC & Company and Woodbury Common Premium Outlets.

Travelocity.com's Concierge Services has created a grand-prize trip for two featuring airfare and lodging; two theater tickets for a Broadway show and holiday show; two landmark city tours; two $100 gift certificates to top restaurants; a $250 shopping spree with limousine transportation to Woodbury Common Premium Outlets; and a commemorative discount card with a message from Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, offering many discounts to attractions around the city.

For Travelocity members already planning a trip to New York, the promotion will help make the money each tourist spends count. The company will donate $5 to the American Red Cross World Trade Center relief efforts for every theater ticket and Woodbury Common excursion purchased.
