Traffix, an online direct marketing and database management company, said yesterday that it acquired online marketers Infiknowledge and Thanksmuch.
Canadian-based Infiknowledge develops and markets interactive games. Thanksmuch specializes in the sale of impulse gifts and costume jewelry.
Traffix bought all Infiknowledge assets for a combination of stock incentives and cash estimated at $1 million.
Traffix said the key assets from that acquisition are an e-mail delivery system, a suite of games designed to be played online and a team of 30 interactive game and Web developers. By itself, the e-mail delivery platform is expected to justify the purchase price in less than one year.
Traffix bought all company assets of Thanksmuch for less than $1 million.
