Topica Inc., a provider of e-mail newsletter hosting and delivery services, is expected to announce today that it has signed The Industry Standard and is delivering e-mail newsletters for the magazine.
Topica, based in San Francisco, said the magazine sends more than 10 million newsletters a month to subscribers in the United States and Europe. The newsletters are produced using Topica's Email Publisher service.
“Topica provided some elements that our newsletters did not have before and also offered some features we did not find with other vendors,” said Christopher Bell, e-mail solutions product manager at The Industry Standard. He said the features that the magazine found particularly attractive were Topica's integrated ad-serving capability, which can place ads in HTML or text e-mails.
Topica's Email Publisher offers newsletter creation, delivery, management and reporting services.
