TodoBebe, Wal-Mart to Host Hispanic Mothers

TodoBebe, a leading source of information about pregnancy for Spanish-speaking women, announced yesterday that it will conduct fairs at several Wal-Mart Supercenters in the coming months and promote them to local mothers via a direct mail piece.

TodoBebe produces a TV show about motherhood for Telemundo and a weekly radio show on 16 stations in Latin America. Its Web site, todobebe.com, has 400,000 unique visitors monthly.

The one-day TodoBebe Baby Fairs will be held in the parking lots of Wal-Mart Supercenters in Los Angeles on Sept. 25, Phoenix on Oct. 2, Houston on Oct. 9 and Miami on Oct. 16.

To attract local mothers, TodoBebe partnered with People en Espanol, which will produce a postcard invitation that will mail to 2,000 subscribers per city about three weeks prior to each event. The magazine's database information will be culled to select moms who live near the stores.

The magazine also will produce in-book advertorials for the fairs.
