Portrait software announced this week that T-Mobile Austria has begun using its Portrait Uplift Optimizer tool to target prospects with more efficient retention offers. T-Mobile, which already uses Portrait’s Portrait Customer Analytics service, began using the Uplifter Optimizer tool September 30 after two trials that greatly reduced churn for the company.
Uplifter Optimizer allows marketers to segment existing customers into four categories based on behaviors. This segmentation allows marketers to see the spectrum of loyalty within its customer base and target each group appropriately with offers catered to that loyalty level.
Customized loyalty offerings, explained Jeff Nicholson , VP of product marketing at Portrait, allow marketers to keep from overspending on customers who are loyal enough to stick with the brand regardless of offering while also recognizing customers who may not be repeat purchasers regardless of offer.
