Time unveils new Web site

Multimedia brand, TIME, has unveiled its new Web site, featuring continuously updated news coverage, new interactive features and a new streamlined design.

The redesigned site now offers around-the-clock news coverage to complement the magazine’s new Friday on-sale date, which went into effect last week.

The site at www.time.com has more than 4 million monthly unique viewers.

The new feature, “The Ag,” is an aggregation and summary of the most important news stories every day by seven a.m. ET from daily newspapers and blogs around the world.

A regular column by former CIA operative, Robert Baer, is also featured, along with individual blogs on politics, business, art, China, video games and the Middle East.

The entire TIME archive of stories and covers, dating back to the magazine’s 1923 debut issue, will be available completely free of charge.

Page views on TIME.com grew more than 120 percent to 32.5 million from November 2005 to November 2006, and unique visitors grew more than 35 percent to almost 4 million.
