As Advertising Week approaches, I am going through the party invites, a sea of meeting requests and, of course the catalog to figure out which events will be most interesting to attend. I’m really looking forward to the IAB keynote on Tuesday in which Charlie Rose will interview Chris Andersen, Wired editor and book author about the future of technology and advertising. MediaPost and the IAB will both have a ton of panels at the beginning of the week and there is also some time devoted to the Social Media Council and Forbes is doing a CMO interview panel on Thursday at The Times Center. I’m also very curious about this battle of the bands.
