Quebecor World Inc. has won a five-year contract extension with Time Inc. to print about 20 of its Time, Southern Progress and Oxmoor House titles, the printing firm said.
The printer also will begin publishing the title This Old House in spring 2002. Quebecor's facilities in Dallas; Merced, CA; Clarksville, TN; and Effingham, IL, will produce the work.
As part of the deal, the printer will add an extra 48-page press to its Dallas facility. Quebecor projected that revenue generated by the contract would exceed $210 million.
Montreal-based Quebecor employs about 38,000 people and operates 160 plants worldwide.
