Teramedia Sells Interactive Unit to Focus on Lists, Data Services

Teramedia sold its interactive division, Ecisive Inc., to a private investment group as of March 10, the list services company said yesterday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The company sold Ecisive to let its management team focus exclusively on Teramedia's core competencies of list management, list brokerage and multichannel data services, said Scott Hardigree, chief marketing officer at Teramedia Corp., Orlando, FL.

“Ecisive has been profitable since its inception; however, we're confident this decision will allow Teramedia to focus on our goal of being the leading provider of multichannel marketing data and best-in-class data services,” he said. “Teramedia plans to become a dominant player in the list services sector of the direct marketing industry, providing the most unique and highly deliverable data for direct mail, opt-in e-mail, telemarketing and data append initiatives.”
